This one's for you...

Eli has been saying "dadadadadada." So I decided to blog about the man he is talking so much about! Here are the stats:
Name: Ben Brown
Age: getting up there
Race: Asian Persuasion (yes i had to spell check that)
Best traits: Best sense of humor ever! Kids love his monster impression and his ability to make them laugh until they pee. Very sweet and thoughtful, loves to touch (and be touched)and i'm not talking in the gettin' freaky sense so don't go there, has a heart of gold, hard worker, loves his wife (most of the time).
Honey, I love you and I couldn't survive one day without you!

We're moving!!!!

Eli is I mean.

And sitting up on his own. Our little Elton John.
Zeke turns 3 in 13 days! It's crazy 'cause he seems so much older to me. Maybe because he's been potty trained for like a year and walking since 10 months. He's growing up so fast. THe other day I got mad at him for something (I think he threw a mini pumkin) and I told him not to do that. He got so sad he started crying and then said "I'm a bad boy." He then runs to his room to put himself on time out. After a couple seconds he then yells from his room, "Mom can I come out now?" I say yes and he says, "No not yet." My children discipline themselves evidently.

"We love each others". That's what Zaiah always says. Unless she's mad at Zeke which is every other second. I've been feeling a lot better lately. The fog has been lifted from my soul. Life is good again. I have already started my christmas shopping (Lord help me). I went to Target BY MYSELF (well with Eli but he doesn't count.) I went there with the intention of spending money on myself for once. I wanted to by at least one sweater and a jacket and maybe some work clothes. I left target with about 5 shirts for zeke, a pair of jeans for zeke, a shirt for Zaiah, and some stocking stuffers. Guess I'm still wearing my maternity pants to work. Whatever I got a man (an asian one at that!) I don't need to look good for nobody. :)

hooray for punkins!

I love love love October for several reasons. It's the hottest time of year in Los Osos. ANd the best time at the beach because all the tourists are gone. There's almost always something going on every weekend. The pumkin patches are a free place to go and kill some time. And of course halloween. The spookiest most wonderful devil worshiping celebration!!! Just kidding...we only celebrate the harvest. Praise Jesus. Amen.
As hard as it is having 3 kids 4 and under I'm starting to get really sad that they're growing up. Eli has been getting not so magnificent in the last couple weeks. He's learned how to scoot himself on the floor and push in his toes to reach a toy. That means i need to watch out for whever is around him so he's not putting stuff in his mouth. He's also been kinda whiney. I just keep asking him what do you want baby???? but he doesn't seem to answer. Oh if I only stuck with the baby can read maybe he'd know how to talk by now.

it came!

My baby can read dvds came in the mail and the your baby can learn spanish. It came with a lot of stuff. I immediatly got intimidated. I don't have time for this. Your kids are supposed to watch the starter dvd twice a day. It's a pretty boring dvd. I can't imagine them watching it once all the way through let alone twice a day! Then theres a book that goes with the dvd and flash cards. So if i really decided to do this you can kiss seeing me goodbye. I'll be up to my eyeballs in flashcards. The other thing is I have 3 kids. I'd have to do it with all three. That's a lot of my attention spent on the kids and less time to spend on the internet. That's not a good thing. (totally kidding.) Right now we're watching the spanish dvd. It was made in like the 80's. Totally cheesy and one of the boys singing really can't sing and his voise is extremely annoying. I don't think my babies are going to be reading any time soon. My sanity is more important at this point.

and it all comes crashing down....

I feel like my season of uphoria (the season i mentioned in earlier posts (basically this whole summer) is coming to a end, actually more like it's crashing and burning right before my eyes. I haven't blogged in a while and i think it's because i'm empty. My brain has turn into mush and my heart to stone. Each day seems worse than the day before...everything that would seem to be good turns out bad. I don't mean to be so eeyore like (oh bother) but i really feel like my season of suckyness has only just begun. I'm old enough to know that life can not always be good (despite what those t shirts tell you). I'm chosing to place the blame on bush and the economy because well that's what everyone is doing, right?

On the bright side I do believe that God brings these seasons in our lives to bring us closer to him. I am feeling His pull (actually it's more like a swift kick in the ass) and am feeling a sense of urgency to brace myself for more bad to come.

oh man the funniest thing just happened. (yes i'm bipolar.) zaiah just brought in a butterfly on a stick to show me. i got a little scared because it was still moving but almost dead (like my soul j/k) well me being scared scared zaiah and she drops the butterfly into eli's lap who is sitting on my lap. we all scream which scares eli and starts histarically crying. i have to jump up and trap the butterfly in a cup to put him outside. it was really funny.

MY BABY CAN READ!!

Well not yet but he will be because i just watched the most amazing infomercial ever and if you have read about me in the past i'm a sucker for infomercials (i.e.nutrisystem). But seriously this was an insane infomercial. it's basically a series of dvds and books that teach your baby as young as 8 moths to read and by 3 years old they're reading at a 3rd grade level! (results may vary).
So i so ordered this because it's fricken amazing to see these little babies read.  I'm still in shock.  I'll let you know how my babies are doing (I'm putting them all on baby "book" camp, get it?) look it up on you tube i'm serious!! i tried to post it on here but i can't figure it out.

Boogers are a beauty...(thanks hols)

This is what Zaiah tells me while we're driving in the car. She has several bad habits but the worst by far is the nose picking. She does it without even thinking about it. I tell her constantly to get her finger out of her nose...she has the tiniest nose on the planet. I know there aren't that many bugers (how do you spell that anyway, don't think i've ever typed that word before.) ****my lovely friend holly filled me in on the booger spelling ****in her nose. That's all i really have to say about that...don't know why i feel you need to know about it. *** i should send this picture into america's top mama....
Oh yeah so I guess i don't really care too much about my brain because I finished off that 12 pack of diet coke and my mom brings me about 8 more today! Guess she doesn't care about my brain either... This weekend we're going up to San Fran for my 10 year high school reunion. I went to an all girls catholic high school by the way. Only about 300 girls in the whole school and about 90 in my senior class. Should be pretty fun. Doesn't seem like a lot of the girls have changed a whole lot. Most of them still live in the bay area, have successful careers like financial planner or vp of something or other. Lot of them aren't married, no kids, or just getting pregnant and here i am with 3 kids, no career, living in my parents house (well a house they bought) going no where. This'll be a fun reunion. I wanted to lose like 20 lbs before i went but i guess it's too late now. Oh well i still got the "i'm nursing" excuse going for me.
