MY BABY CAN READ!!

Well not yet but he will be because i just watched the most amazing infomercial ever and if you have read about me in the past i'm a sucker for infomercials (i.e.nutrisystem). But seriously this was an insane infomercial. it's basically a series of dvds and books that teach your baby as young as 8 moths to read and by 3 years old they're reading at a 3rd grade level! (results may vary).
So i so ordered this because it's fricken amazing to see these little babies read.  I'm still in shock.  I'll let you know how my babies are doing (I'm putting them all on baby "book" camp, get it?) look it up on you tube i'm serious!! i tried to post it on here but i can't figure it out.

Boogers are a beauty...(thanks hols)

This is what Zaiah tells me while we're driving in the car. She has several bad habits but the worst by far is the nose picking. She does it without even thinking about it. I tell her constantly to get her finger out of her nose...she has the tiniest nose on the planet. I know there aren't that many bugers (how do you spell that anyway, don't think i've ever typed that word before.) ****my lovely friend holly filled me in on the booger spelling ****in her nose. That's all i really have to say about that...don't know why i feel you need to know about it. *** i should send this picture into america's top mama....
Oh yeah so I guess i don't really care too much about my brain because I finished off that 12 pack of diet coke and my mom brings me about 8 more today! Guess she doesn't care about my brain either... This weekend we're going up to San Fran for my 10 year high school reunion. I went to an all girls catholic high school by the way. Only about 300 girls in the whole school and about 90 in my senior class. Should be pretty fun. Doesn't seem like a lot of the girls have changed a whole lot. Most of them still live in the bay area, have successful careers like financial planner or vp of something or other. Lot of them aren't married, no kids, or just getting pregnant and here i am with 3 kids, no career, living in my parents house (well a house they bought) going no where. This'll be a fun reunion. I wanted to lose like 20 lbs before i went but i guess it's too late now. Oh well i still got the "i'm nursing" excuse going for me.

Drink diet coke and you will die...

I love diet coke.  I love it really cold, from a fountain, out of a can, in my mouth.  I love it all.  I get a high from the first sip I take of it.  Its like my crack cocaine.  But I only have one a day.  That's it.  Not too bad right?  Anyway I just bought a 12 pack and brought one to work with me.  I crack it open at work and start telling my coworker how much I love diet coke and she goes on to tell me how many horror  stories she's heard of people (friend of a friend of a friend sort of a thing) who have died for no reason and the only thing they all had in common was that they are all avid diet coke drinkers.  She said that diet coke eats away at your brain.  Well that was enough for me.  I went and poured out my diet coke in the sink and that's the end of that. I have a 12 pack sitting in my fridge if any of you don't care about your brains come and take it away from me. I can't stand to throw it away. I totally think my brain is half eaten.  I have the worst memory, i can't think of what I want to say all the time. I thought it was because of all the weed i smoked in high school/college.  But now i think it's really the diet coke.

Not a happy week.....

Seriously how rad is this picture. My mom has been teaching Zaiah spanish and so now Zaiah always says Gracias for everything but there's a catch. You have to say De Natha (don't know how to spell it really) which means you're welcome. You have to say it or she'll just keep saying gracias gracias gracias gracias over and over and over again till your eyes bleed.

THis sweet little face is the one entity in this universe that can push every single button in my body (oh no wait not counting my husband) to the point where I think I am clinically going crazy. LIke lock me in the mental hospital crazy. Like drowning her in the bathtub crazy.....okay not that far don't go calling the police on me. I struggle so much with her. It sucks so bad because i feel sometimes like I can't even have fun with her because I'm so mad at her and I just can't get over it. Like today she was super duper whiney and just crying over everything. I was so bugged by her. Then we go to soccer practice and she's all pumped and playing with me. SHe tells me she's going to play with the rest of the team and seemed really into it. I'm that crazy soccer mom on the side of the field yelling at the referee, the coach, and their kid at the same time. I would be the mom that get's red carded and kicked off the field. I'm that crazy about soccer. ANyways......as soon as the coach and the rest of the kids shows up Zaiah won't do anything and just stands there the whole time and is "too shy". Oh my gosh i wanted to kill her (okay that's my second reference to killing my kid don't be alarmed it's just a figure of speech). I walked home by myself and Ben drove the kids home and I just prayed that God would teach me how to be a better mom to Zaiah. To extend my already burned fuse so i can just love her and have patience with her. Lord help me.
In other news....somebody is teething in our family. No not me, not ben, not even the baby....it's Zeke. Yes he's almost three but he's getting his two year molars. He's been a whiney little biscuit too, snotty nose, just all around fussy and if you look all the way in the back of his mouth you can see why. He has four bulging (and i mean BULGING like a european man in a speedo) molars. Ouch.
News flash number 3!!! Ben sold his motorcycle.....everyone say hip hip hooray on the count of three....one....two...three....did you do it for reals????? I did. I'm so happy. IT was awsome too because our friend Jesse sold it within a day for the same price that Ben bought it for (on Craigslist of course). Bennie never even got his license he just thought he'd have time to restore the bike to a cafe racer whatever that means.....seriously I think he needs drug testing because he's delusional. So he sold the bike and bought a truck. That's a whole nother story i don't feel like getting into....
And last but not least I went back to work (insert frownie face here). It really hasn't been that bad. My mom said the baby has been amazing but she's only had to watch him so far. Friday will be the real test when she has to watch all 3!!! Time flys when i'm there because I have so much stuff to do that I really don't mind being at work and i get to rock out to 92.5 to such great hits as red red wine and i saw the sign by ACE OF BASE ( YEAH BABY!) on my way to work. RaTHER THAN MY usual rocking out song of Mary had a little lamb that Zeke makes me listen to over and over and over.
My only dilema is that my mom is staying with us all week long. YIKES!!! I like going to work early so that i can get off early. Ben goes in early for that same reason. My mom lives in Santa Maria and can't really be driving here at 5:00 in the morning every day so she decided it'd be best to live at our house. Hence my immediate purchase of a trailer parked in my backyard for her to stay in but she said "no i'll just sleep in the kids room on the floor." "No wait mom, i don't think you get it....i just bought a trailer for you to sleep in....nevermind." So whatever she goes to work at 1 and doesn't get home (our home) until about 10:45pm. It's just kinda wierd you know. I'm thankful for her willingness to help though don't get me wrong. I'm no ingrate!!!

rice cereal,preschool,and rolling over...oh my!

THis is me feeding Eli his first spoonful of rice cereal. He liked it which is good because Zeke gagged on everything. He thought all baby food was gross. Eli was wanting more but still doesn't know how to push the food to the back of his mouth to swallow. But I'm getting him started on it now because I'm going back to work on TUesday!!! Yucky yuck yuck.....
Here's Eli after he rolled over from his back to his tummy. Can you see the look of complete surprise on his face? Oh wait he always looks like that.
ANd last but not least this is the kids on their first day back to preschool. THis is Zaiah's second year and she's the finally one of the bigger kids in the class. THis is Zeke's first day and he could care less about me. He walked in holding Zaiah's hand and said, "see ya wouldn't wanna be ya to me." (not really but it felt like he did). I left feeling a little sad that my baby (zeke) is growing up so fast. He's a little boy now. On the other hand it's been nice to have both the kids out of my hair for 8 hours a week! Praise the LOrd.

Eazy E!

Warning: This post that you are about to read has a lot of bragging in it about how rad of a baby I have. This is in no way a comparison to your baby(s) or meant to say your baby isn't just as radicle. Read on....Zeke wore this shirt when he was like 10 months old. Eli is 4 months. You do the math.
This is the raddest baby on the planet. He is so mellow, easy going, patient, and all around amazing!!!
He loves being tickeled by Zaiah's stinky feet! Don't you just want to eat those chubby cheakers. He even is learninghow to do graphic design. He's the smartest baby I've ever met.
And although he isn't in the picture I just have to tell you that I took the kids to Sinshimer pool (all by myself mind you) and as the kids played in the pool Eli was sleeping on a towel in the shade. What a fricken cool baby. I love him so much. He is a true miracle and a huge blessing from the Lord in so many ways. He came at the perfect time (I got the summer off of work...sweet) I had no labor pains (hey I deserved that epidural and he wasn't coming out) and I've lost all my baby weight already (granted I have baby weight from the other two but that doesn't count!!!!!Lord thank you for little Eli Cesar Brown (yes we spelled Cesar wrong).
Oh yeah and to put him to sleep I just put him in his little bed with his paci and walk out the door! No bouncing, no shushing, no pacing back and forth. He puts himself to sleep. Thank you Jesus!

all at once...

They were really serious about this rock band. Especially Stephanie's little boy Paul. He was rockin out better than Bono. THey didn't sound that bad either. Good times... This was at the open swin at Cuesta. The kids have so much fun in the pool i wish i had one. That could be my next purchase!!!! Look out craigslist.

Everything in my life that I rely on a regular basis has broken down within the last month. My car was doing this sputtering thing where it was acting like it was going to die but wouldn't. I had no choice but to keep driving it when I later find out that there was a 30 percent chance my car would have exploded into a million little pieces. Okay maybe not that dramatic. Two trips to the car guy (auto experts in slo i highly recommend them) and nearly 400 dollars later and it's fixed!!! My washing machine decided to lock my enourmously large load of laundry inside with soaking wet clothes in it so i'm having the sears guy out here right now. He gives me a quote for a ridiculous amount of money just to replace the lock. WHatever I tell him just fix the damn thing i need my laundry. THen both of my computers (which are both dells I highly do not recommend them) are plaqued with viruses. The computer i'm typing on right now the whole screen is upside down. I was so smart and realized if I just flipped my monitor upside down it would work. SO ghetto. My laptop shuts down after minutes of being on the internet. It has some wierd security settings that won't let me do anything on it including email. I hate that thing. I have to take them both in to get fixed. Tack on another 300 bucks to the list. WHy is stuff made so crappy these days. I hate it.
In better news but not that great since my money spending has just increadesed 300 fold, Ben and I bought a camping trailer. It's a 17 foot 1969 camper. It's old but cute and everything works. We were going to take it on our most recent camping trip (long long story I'll tell you about later) but we have no clue how to work it. BUt it's fun anyways. We're also going to use it as a spare bedroom for any guests that we have so if you're reading this and always wanted to come visit my house but didn't want to ask 'cause you thought we wouldn't have enougth room for you and your family think again. Stay in our trailer!!!!!!
